First of all, genealogical information on the Eleonore family, with its reunionese ancesters and on the Wacquant family and its ancesters, mainly originated from Forges-sur-Meuse (Lorraine, FRANCE).

(My genealogical pages have been realized with the help a GEDCOM file, and web page made-up with the GED2WWWF software).

For neophytes or beginner genealogists, all good genealogy software can export data under a normalized universal format, called "GEDCOM".

From these GEDCOM files, there are some utilities such as GED2WWWF, that allow transforming afore sid files into HTML pages, the format used on Internet. There exist also today some software that anticipates transforming directly your data into HTML pages.

You will also find a first page on  the mayors of Forges-sur-Meuse from 1794 to 1891. The latter being the first part of a history of Forges-sur-Meuse that I would like to develop ; (I appeal to those websurfers who may have some documents).

In second place, a small collection of  fossil images, more particularly of ammonites of the Jurassic, realized from specimens I myself gathered on the banks of  Doubs, in the east of FRANCE, and some specimens of Caen (West of France) of MADAGASCAR and new.gif (927 octets)some fishes and leaves of Spain.

All available images come exclusively from my personal collection ; they have been realized by placing fossils directly on a flatbed scanner HP 5100C.

In the photo album , a view of the valley of the Doubs, a map of Europe to locate the department of Doubs, and some photos of Reunion Island.

Finally, some links that have appeared to me interesting enough.
